Military Outreach
Sign up your family, friends and neighbors serving in the military to receive a care package from us. Details and sign up at the information center.
MOPS (Mothers of PreSchoolers)
MOPS is a Christian organization to support moms with young children (birth 'til school age). Connection's local chapter meets from 9-11 a.m. the second Friday every month. All moms and their preschool children in the community are invited. Sign up at the information center or contact Jeannette Bryan (463-3957) for information.
Secret Angel Squad
Do you know someone who needs a spiritual lift of word of encouragement? Drop their name and address in the box at the infomation center and the Angels will do the rest.
Serve Lunch to the Hungry
Once a month (second Tuesday), at the Emmanual Dining Room. Or, help prepare the meal (second Monday afternoon) with Jane James. Sign up at the information center or contact Jane at 376-7120.
Quilters Needed for Operation Kid Comfort
Are you a quilter who could share God's love, your talent and a little time to provide comfort to the children of deployed military members? Operation Kid Comfort is a program developed by the Armed Forces YMCA at Fort Bragg that provides photo quilts for children who have a deployed parent, helping them keep their parent close at heart and providing comfort. The quilts are free of charge to the family, paid for by donations and made by volunteers. Everything is provided by the organization: Photos are already on fabric, all fabric has been washed and is ready to be put together. They even provide the packaging and postage for the volunteer to send the quilt on to its waiting child. Contact Lori Heinrich at (302) 351-3388 or by e-mail for more information.

Intercessory Prayer Tuesday Nights
The church is open for prayer from 7-8 p.m. on Tuesday evenings during December. Come and spend time in personal prayer as well as interceding on behalf of others.

Recordings of church services for sale on CD. Fill out the order sheet with $1 and pick up your CD at the recording booth (by the copier) the following week.
